I'll be shaggin' the missus first thing Gaz......Oh, you mean the surf.
Depends on the wind. If it defs is going to the N by lunchtime, then I'll do Island tmrw. If not, I'm gunna wait and go early monday mornin'.
Benny wants to go, but is on his deathbed with flu. Reckons he'll be OK by monday, but won't be up to it if I go tmrw, so if it's looking like tmrw I'll let ya know if ya got a deckie spot.

Got up the Goldy Thursday arvo - Kirra was less than 2 foot with about 3 mals on it - Friday morn was around 2 foot + on the sets so had a nice little sess with only 4 or 5 others, surprising really.
Friday morning me and the youngun walked up from his place at Bilinga and paddled out behind the groyne - fark me dead - it's up over 4 foot and at least a 100 all over it - did score a couple but the sweep was pretty bad - really hard to hold ya spot.
Got on the piss heavily Sat night so's had a sleep in - prob good thing cause Kirra was double o/h on the sets - bit too quick for this old fella - lots of good surfers getting into it - huge sweep and no where to paddle out - better for taking photos for me
will try and upload a few - didn't get home till after 12 last night - farken Jetstar

Don't dilly-dally Roscoe. Just catch a wave. As soon as you start paddling, it's all over. Well for me anyway. When Eno's/Nasho's is big, it's the same. I just make sure I catch one before I get swept too far, and have to start fighting the current. Even if it's not a great wave, I just go it, and straighten out before I'm too far down the point, so I can quickly walk back out to the primo zone. Conserve your energy, and increase your chance of being out there in the spot when a good one comes.

nice one scoring the Island Tiges. arrived Byron last friday. swell pumped satdy thru tuesday. satdy at Lennox was maxing. pics don't do it justice. huge volume of water in each wave and only had my 6'0" small wave groveller so dogged it and surfed the wreck at 3-4'. blew it's ring out from the north sunday monday so no surfing any where. huge surf and even cosy corner was blown out from the north. tuesday dawned with perfect 5' a-frames right out the front of where I was stayin at Suffolk Park. 2 seshs that day as it was offshore all day. a few bazzas were had for sure with only me and 2 groms stayin where I was on it for the morning sesh and on me lonesome for the arvo. one of the groms had a snappage too. wednesday same out the front but down to 3' and offshore all day. thursday 1-2 so gave it a miss and today 0-1 so no go. Lennox maxxing on a set Satdy Lennox Satdy perfection out the front at Suffolk Tuesday the whole of Tallows was sick Tuesday- Cosy Corner lookin south to Broken Head Cosy Corner

Hey Seedles, good to see ya scored a few down the coast! The bank at the bar is in pretty crook shape. It looks good in those pics, but is quite straight in reality. I'm sure there woulda been a few long, fast bazza's out there. But compared to how it can get.... Can you believe I couldn't find anyone who wanted to go to the Island on Monday?!?! Here's a few more pics:
