Been there Gunt in 91. Did the Brisbane to Noumea yacht race and then did some cruising around there after the race. Nice place only prob is you need a boat to surf. We surfed one joint that was an epic left hander that wrapped around the reef through 270degrees!! Awesome wave!! Its very open ocean type stuff too. We were 30 nautical miles from the mainland at that joint. Others are closer and some are even further offshore than that. Food is good and the women are farking incredible. Bit ex'y though

Nah I had good experiences with the french people. Had more trouble with new zealanders working in club med there though. c**ts kicked us out of the resort cause we weren't guests and we were in one of the guests rooms. We had just spent about $250 between us on those bead things they use as money in Club med as well!! Pricks would give us a refund either... Surf was great, food was awesome and the coffee awesome, good local beer too called No1. Still indo is a far better option gunt, both wave wise and coin wise
