Got into the surf bout 8.30 this am and it was sorta clean, some runners lurkin around the joint and plenty of vision from behind the curtain. Picked up real quick and spent the last hour of the sesh standin in solid pits, getting thrashed about and a few hacks. The back of my ears are still stingin from getting spat on so much. Made one setto from way back, sick, sick, stoked and stoked. surfing a board that is made from plastic , like the stuff they make bic biro's from, took off on everything, pulled into everything, got bounced off the sand a hundred times and the board is in perfect shape. normal boards wouldve buckled over and over, it goes well too. how'd you lot go.

southy balds, basicly to put this stick through its paces. we took delivery of a couple last week to test, the response will be really positive from my perspective. performance aint fantastic but a whole lot better than what youd expect when you first pick it up. waves musta been a solid 5ft on the sets and this thing is all of about 5'10 or 5'11, floated me ok (92kg) still paddled ok and didnt wig out to bad in the pocket either. workin on those piccy's gaz

not us gaz, not yet at least. the beauty of this initiative is its pushing for having an aussie manufacturing operation. mctavish and another few crew are working on getting the moulds right, will be a while yet but so far so good. i am a purist in regards to supporting oz manufacturing and the poly boards, but simply cant afford to keep buying the fuckers, even at a discounted rate. with the market being driven by begginers who dont give a fuck if its hand shaped, machine shaped, from china or thailand its good to see some aussies taking ot to the asians(which is driven by major global shapers anyway)

thats the idea gunt, compete with the imports so that should give you a starting point. spose at the end of the day it depends on good they make em and what the market conditions are when thay are ready to release. the whole epa thing is probably gonna make it pretty hard for guys to keep makin boards the way they do, long term anyway

thought the epoxy boards were dearer than the normal foamies and that it was the popout foamies that were the cheapies.....
