Full time work fuckkkk me it sucks.
used to getting up early for surfs but then again also used to taking a little nap round 2 after lunch before the evening surf.
up at 6am these days on the train at 7 back home at almost 6pm. had to drive to warehouse yesterday. 27km from my parents place and it took me ALMOST 90MINUTES.
sorry but sydney can go fuck itself. cant wait to get back to the gong.
on a side note got a leka holiday planned for end of year. 7 days in Mauritius on way over. 10 days in Madagascar. 4 weeks in S.Africa including capetown, cape st Fran, J bay, swodana bay, Mozambique. then another 10 nights in Mauritius on way back.

First you get a loan for a car
Then you fall for some shlarpa and get hooked up
Then she convinces you that you need a better car
Then she reckon's it would be a good idea to get a house
She says that you need to work more cause you need to buy more shit that you will never use but she will undoubtably enjoy having
Then you have children
Then School fee's
Then you wish you were dead but you can't afford the funeral so you just keep going
Then you forget why you are so pissed off about things and just do them
Then you are happy cause your being told that everything is fucking great.

get a claytons job like myself. ya end whinging about it just as much but ya hardly ever there and when ya r ya watching telly or sleeping half the time. and everyone thinks ya must be " a special kind of person" to do that work. lazy more like it!!!! luv me 4 day weekends every week

Shlarpa aint a slapper balders. A shlarpa is a name for those sex kitten types that you would do in a heart beat.
I don't blame my missus as such. I actually like my work as my sicky record would suggest.
I guess you have to have a mindset that allows you to accept that work is a part of your life and you need to focus on the challeges and set goals and the sense of achievement you will get from doing that keeps you motivated and focused on keeping going. Oh and yeah, MONEY also helps!!

dunno meself prep...fulltime meter reading sucked hard. do enough of anything and it starts getting bad (cept gettin pitted....and yeah a shitload of other things, shuddup).

I remember when I first started working full time at a desk job - me farkin' legs were restless and jiggling all the time 'cos I was just sitting down all day and had been used to being out doing shit all day. Fark I wish I'd just packed it in an gone and done something else.
Don't know where I read it but remember reading somewhere some advice from a bloke to his kid that said whatever you do don't get chained to a desk. Personally I reckon its not bad advice. We're all Farkin' androids doing shit for who knows the fark why.
geez i hope that doesn't come across as too bitter and cynical hahahahahaha but fark society needs to change.
people I can't stand are ones that claim they 'love their work' when they're working a desk job ... fark off.
I reckon scarps got the answer right too haha

you work because there are things that you want in exchange for the money you make.
ie.. you are at a crossroads in your life and go ... ok .. do I want to be a hippie .. travel/surf/live nekkid on a deserted island or .. I would like kids and someone to gasbag with when I'm an old codger and stay close to my family.
Then you make your choices and live them
yours is MUCH simpler ... work for 6 months for 2 months of paradise ... easy .. at least there's an end to it.
