its come to my attention that many of us use different means and e-tools to figure out where we wanna be and when to score some good surf, if yar anything like me you'll probably find other peoples suggestions for links very helpful but via lazinesss or forgetfulness forget to save it to your favourites.
I'll stickyify this thread and via our pooled knowledge we will never miss a sesho again!!!!

I just found this site, it gives you sunrise and set times, but with the added bonus of telling you when twilight begins, so you can get as much pre-sunrise surf as possible without wasting excessive sleep time, beneficial to those of us stuck in the 8.30-5 regime.. members.iinet.net.au/~jacob/risesetsyd.html

Yeah yar dead rite stu. go to the beach and check the fucker. everything else is just a guestimate
Forecasts usually do me no good coz i'll usually just paddle out regardless. But the wind is important as to where i'm heading (nth or south)

Like this morn the Wave Rider Buoys were showing just under 4m average swell with max heights of 5-7m off Port Kembla. Go for a look see and tiz fuckin puss 2ftrs where the wind and waves were ridable. Swell must've been out of the SW and heading NE past the buoys.
