Dont think i will get that repaired board. Just aint worth the risk when i could just cough up 2 more bills and get somethin exactly what i wat brand spankin new.
problem is i dont really know what i want.
Was 90% happy with the thing i had previously.......only thing i didnt like was that it was a bit unresponsive turning-wise in smaller stuff....so maybe a little bit thinner and less wide??? Whaddya reckon. I liked the length of the thing (6'3)..seemed to handle anything i had the balls to paddle out in.....

it was a bit unresponsive turning-wise..... we know....whahahahahahahahahaha a couple of mates that live up your way swear by MR's boards and have been usin' 'em for several years....they reckon he's very approachable and does a damn good job of listening and giving you what you ask for....dunno what the prices are like but.... as I've said before....I always buy off the rack because I can see what I'm getting....and can usually do a bit of a deal as the shops want to turn 'em over quick as possible...

IMO gunt you need to talk to a shaper first before you even think about getting a board off em. When you find a guy who your comfortable talking to about your level of surfing then you'llhave a better chance of getting the board you need. If the dude won't even spend the time to have a chat you can get the gist of what he'll be like with your board.

i'd go a 6'2, 18 1/2, 2 1/2, rounded sq with a set of fcs m3's as ya starting point. go ride a couple of 2nd hand ones before ya buy one new and even then, same dimensions never means the same ride. as balds said, go in pick one up and if it feels right, it prolly is. wheres the logic in that

scrapin' orf the wax becomes the problem....all them dimples on the deck and rails as well as the discolouration over time really diminishes the resale value... ;D

me mates roll up at 730 this morn, 'lets go for a surf!'
uhhh shit.......
Straight to the bank and then to the shaper, bought the repair board, take it out, it goes sick, but a bit touchier than the last one. gave it all manner of floggings, air drops, closeout barrels, and it was fine. happy days
