Picked up the Al Merrick "Pod" on Saturday - after much deliberation went the 6'0" - but probably coulda gone 5'10"
Took it out in some small surf at Eastie and paddles like a dream - picked up heaps of waves - light as and turns sweet.
Can't wait to try it out on some decent surf

it was a thruster he was riding, they is a pretty chunky board, I'm think it was more a rail issue. Wamby gets sucky, at 5 ft it would be mean i reckon. Not south narra mean, maybe a setting below it.
fark i like watchin them south narra dredgers !!!

creased my 6'0 semi fish thingy today in 2 places. still holding it's shape but will only be a matter of time till it's demise. stopped in at Alex Surf and they had a spanker second handy. in minto condition 6'2 DHD Margo Nugget. $450 (new$750 )was custom for some guy who had the dims pulled back from stock to 6'2 19.5 2.5 (stock is 19.75 2.75 fat little fucker) tis a roundtail in quad set up but has the thruster option. been wanting to get a 6'2 roundtail for ages since my last one speared me and busted it's fins in my arse cheek a year ago. that's the last 3 boards now I've bought second hand in mint condition and saved a packet. pretty stoked with that

that'd be pretty sweet for you Wands aye, dims and outline look okay, and with cover and leggy, 35 minutes drive from where I'll be based in Seattle, all for $350USD is pretty easy, tis cheaper than shipping one over.
