riteo c**ties, thinkin of a new sticko, but first to git an idea I reckon I'm gonna try me luck on a used.
I wanna try a 6'2" so i can see the diff between that and a 6'6" ( i just can't bring meself to believe me missus when she says size do matter)
So wtf do i need to look out for in the rest o the design ?

i reckon try a 6'4 to start and work down if ya think its not too loose for ya. 6'4 x 18 1/2 x 2 3/8
or even try a fish, easy to paddle, train ya to do carves and not whippy things and really responsive. see brad at clear in mona 0433264734, hes a knowledgable dude does cheap customs too. tell him daltz ex fcs sent ya.

ya reckon 6'2" mite too much of a jump eh ?
See the thing is " why do I want a different board ?" and the answer is to surf bigger waves more confidently. See I canna duck dive the board I got now, and I can't get in the best posi for the waves if there is big ones comin thru and I is unable to git under em, so i end up sittin too far out with only a chance to git the biggest ones. So I figure if I git something that I can git oota trouble den I'll have a better time.
But then balds and wands ride mals and I'm farked if I know how ya duck dive them when its bigger, unless its technique .
But I'm only 79 kgs (prolly should be 76) and so I prolly dun need such a floaty board no more, the poiple one has prolly served its purpose and its time to move on.

dats a basket ya cant plonk me in shorty, I almost never bail, I can duckdive a 4 inch thick 9'8 long 1962 gordon woods D-fin, tis all in the technique, ya gotta have momentum, ya gotta sink one rail before the other and yav gotta have ya weight right. and when I get one on the head its actually easier to hang on when I'm on my mal than when I'm on my shorty. if it looks too square or too big too duckdive I might turtle roll, but Ive found this fairly ineffective unless ya riding a bigger heavier board, most times if u can turtle, you should be able to ducdive. I will chuck my board if I'm in dire trouble, but I always look behind, if there is someone there, then I'll attempt to get under it and wear my punishment if I have to, I also make a habit of checking my leggies and the cord and knot there-in.

likewise....the only time I let go is if it rips the board outta me hands....which is not often and woulda done the same if I tried ta duckdive....or as wands said if I look and there's no one behind me and the waves gunna thrash me....for example that farken wave in Fiji...woulda been easy ta chuck it but I didn't know if there was anyone behind me so hung on and copped stitches in the eye, a broken board and two days outta the water...... I hate cnuts who bail at the first sign of whitewater and don't give a toss who's behind 'em........and it just ain't mals...there's a fair farken percentage of shortboarders who do it too...

i duckdive me 9'1" too, actually reckon it's easier to duckdive than me 6'7" nuggo, 'cause of different displacement characteristics, the nuggo is a lot more corky

scarps - 6'2" 19" 2 3/8" - swallow tail with a bit of width - fishy but get a bit more rocker in the nose - you'll do fine on that -- extra width will have you stealing waves off the wrongboarders (not that it'll stop the fat c**ts dropping in on ya)
